One of the core philosophies that drive us at SalesDirector.ai is the belief that your revenue data (customer, sales, marketing and sales rep activity data) belongs to you – and that you should be able to access it anyway you like.
We’ve noticed an industry trend that locks-up and silos your revenue data in a way that prevents you from being able to access/manipulate/query or visualize your data the way you’d like. Most revenue intelligence platforms today only allow you to access and visualize YOUR data through THEIR platform. By default this limits your access and ability to customize reports to your fashion.
SalesDirector.ai believes that your data not only belongs to you – but that your data should be accessible to you via any means you choose.
SalesDirector.ai supports direct connections from various Business Intelligence Tools such as Tableau, Domo, PowerBI and others. Speak with your Customer Success Manager for details. Below are the instructions for Google Data Studio.
1) In Google Data Studio create a New Data
2) Select PostgreSQL as your Google Connector
3) Here you will be asked for various Connection parameters:
These will all be provided for you by the SalesDirector.ai Customer Success team.
You will need the Host Name, Port, Database Name, Username, Password AND a Server Certificate and Client Certificate files. All done over SSL.
This should get you the core connections to the data store.
You now should be successfully connected and can build Dashboards from here.
